A shallow pewter bowl from York Metalcrafters featuring a band of dog images around the prominent rim of them doing things like eating, drinking, skiing, beings laughed at by a cat, and in the center, playing pool. The bowl is finished with the words "The Familiar Dog 'canis familiaris'" at the top. The bowl measures 8 3/4" across the rim and is 1 1/4" high. The bottom is marked with the York Metalcrafters stamp and the condition is good.
