This had a broken lid when I found it so I threw the lid away and decided this would make a beautiful little planter. It is a little porcelain sugar bowl from Villeroy & Boch that is decorated with scrolling blue flowers over a glossy white background and finished with two top-set handled that resemble the paws of a lion. The bowl measures 5 1/4" wide and 2 1/8" high. The bottom is signed "Villeroy & Boch Dresden Made in Germany." Apart from the missing lid and some spidering to the base and inside, the overall condition is good for such an older piece.
