A tall and sturdy handmade stoneware vase featuring a technically simple rounded shape but the sides have been compressed inward as though a hand squeezed the sides in just slightly and there are also subtle rectangular shapes set within each of the compressed sides and gentle horizontal ribbing. It's almost like you can see the hand at work in this piece. The vase is finished with a dusty pink and gray speckled glaze with crazing noted. The vase measures 4 1/2" wide and 9 1/4" high. The piece appears to be signed with an embossed symbol on the bottom edge and the condition is good. This is an interesting vase.
