  • Cap Sleeve Length:  12"
  • Length:  18"

Will This Shirt Fit?

Apart from the stated size on the label, we take the following steps to determine a shirts measurements:

  1. Chest:  We measure across the shirt from underarm to underarm, then double the number.  For example, if the measurement across the underarms is 15", we double it to get a 30" bust/chest measurement.
  2. Waist:  We measure from the left bottom hem straight across to the right bottom hem.
  3. Shoulder:  We measure across the top of the shirt from shoulder seam to shoulder seam.
  4. Sleeve Length:  We measure from the middle of the yoke, just below the collar band, and measure out to the seam where the yoke attaches to the sleeve and down to the edge of the cuff on the sleeve and note the measurement to the nearest 1/4".
  5. Shirt Length:  We measure from the top of the neckline to the bottom of the hem along the back.
  6. Collar Size:  We measure from the center of the button hole to the middle of the opposite button hole to the nearest 1/4".
  7. Cuff Circumference:  We measure from the center of the button to the outside of the buttonhole to the nearest 1/4".
  8. Bicep Circumference:  We measure across the bicep and double the number.

Measuring for Your Size

Using a flexible tape measure, take the following eight measurements:

  1. Neck:  Measure around your neck at the height where the collar rests, just below your Adam's Apple.  Keep the tape measure a little loose.
  2. Bust/Chest:  Measure under your arms around your chest at the widest point.  A bra can be worn with this step.
  3. Bicep:  Measure around your bicep at its fullest point.
  4. Waist:  Loosely measure around your body at your natural waistline (Tip:  Bend to the side, and the crease is your natural waistline, usually 2" above the belly button).  Note the measurement in inches, rounding up to the next 1/2".
  5. Wrist:  Measure around your wrist at the wrist bone, rounding up to the nearest 1/4".
  6. Sleeve Length:  Measure from the nape of your neck, over your shoulder, and down your arm to the fleshy part of your palm, keeping arm bent.  Note the measurement to the nearest 1/4".
  7. Shoulder Width:  Measure from the outside edge of the shoulder where the shirt's yoke will be, up and over the shoulders across to the other side.  Note the number in inches.
  8. Shirt Length:  Measure from the base of your neck to where you want the shirt to fall, usually to the bottom of your rear.
