A pair of little octagonal porcelain salt cellars featuring red flowers applied to bands of blue and white, all applied with a lusterware finish. Each little bowl measures 1 1/2" wide and 7/8" high. The bottoms are stamped "Made in Japan" with the cherry blossom in the shape of five "M" which indicates that these were made for the United States market in the early 20th century.
