A pair of matching round porcelain bowls each decorated with a repeating band of blue and gold butterflies around the rim, flowers around the middle, and in the center, a round design with four little dogs. Each bowl measures 9 3/4" across the gilded rim, 4 1/2" across the rimmed base, and 3" high. The bottoms are marked with "6289 Blue," the maker's mark, and "KSG" faintly impressed. The condition of both bowls is excellent, with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
