Book Summary

Personhood is about the most wondrous journey possible--the journey of our fully functioning selves.

Leo Buscaglia writes a simple celebration of humanism.  He believes that we are responsible, through our own uniqueness, for completing a portion of a vast universal canvas.  Therefore, full actualization of the world depends on our own self-actualization.  Working at being fully human, then, should be our greatest challenge; we must live and love, joy, pain, uncertainty, frustration, disappointment and even death.

His view is a positive one, and his words are inspiring, as he explains that "the self that we are now contains the actualization which will fulfill us."
