Original Nature Oil Portraits by Elva Campbell

$ 65.00

A pair of original oil-on-canvas panel paintings from Elva Campbell, both featuring fall landscape scenes by Elva Campbell.  The smaller painting in the gilded frame is taken from the vantage point of sitting between the tall grasses on a lakeside and capturing just a small area of beauty at dawns early light.  There are birds flying in formation, still restless waters, and abstract little homes at the edge of the painting that blend into the landscape and are almost discovered as a surprise.  The second painting in the darker wood frame, titled "Low Water," was painted at the Churchville Reservoir, a man-made freshwater reservoir in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.  The painting appears to be executed on a similar sunny day as in the first, but in a place where the trees along the waterline are more dense, and the leaves have turned and are starting to fall from the trees.  Both canvases measure 8 x 10 and are housed in mismatching wood frames that have picture hanging wire attached to the frames with screw eyes.  No dust jackets are present.  Both paintings are signed by the artist, Elva Campbell, and their condition is very good.
