A handsome earthenware pitcher with a large curved handle and washed over matte and semi-gloss glazes in shades of brown, cream and blue. The pitcher measures 9" tall, 5" wide at the base and 4 1/4" wide at the rim. The base is incised with the name of the maker and the date "73". The condition is very good, clean, and free of chips or cracks, with areas along the base lacking glaze, lending to its character.
