An Italian inlaid lacquered wood curio box with peach velvet lining by Notturno Intarsio Inlaid Work Factory in Sorrento, Italy. A beautiful example of Italian marquetry featuring a flower on the hinged lid set in burled wood measuring 4" across, 3 1/2" wide, and 2" tall. The inside compartment measures 2 1/2" wide, 2" tall and 1 1/4" deep. The bottom contains the original blue and gold foil label stating the name and contact information of the maker, "Notturno Intarsio." The condition is excellent.
