A set of three limited edition prints from a prior owner's "trip to the Orient" in 1989 (as written on the back of the frames), with all depicting Victoria Harbor in Hong Kong during the day and at dusk, with the sun drifting off at sunset. All three are printed on high quality cold-pressed cotton paper, with the largest print on a more nubby-textured paper than the other two, and are signed in pencil with the editions (1060/2000; 846/2000; and 913/2000) and the artist's signature.  The prints are all finished with custom frames and matting from Kent Studios in Clifton Heights, PA.  The back of each frame has Kraft paper dust covers and hanging wire affixed to the frame with screw eyes.  The smaller prints with matting each measure 7 1/2" square with the frame measuring 8 3/4" square.  The larger print and matting measures 9 5/8" wide and 7 1/2" tall with the frame measuring 11 1/4" wide and 9 1/4" tall.  There is some very light scuffing to the gilding on the larger frame but the overall condition of all three pieces is very good, with no flaws to the prints.

Giclée Reproduction Print

Giclée is a term used to describe high quality fine art prints, copies of the original piece of art, created on large-format color inkjet printers.  Open edition prints where there is no cap to how many prints are made, are usually not signed.   If a giclée print is a limited edition, the artist's signature goes under the bottom-right edge of the image in ink.  The title of the print is usually not included, and the edition information is placed under the signature to distinguish the print from a hand-pulled print.
