Koret (New York, USA) Korettalak Shiny White Handbag with Gold Tone Detailing

$ 20.00

Richard Koret established Koret in 1929 and for decades was a major manufacturer of stylish bags and accessories.  This is a handbag made of shiny white man-made materials in a very classic shape.  The outside of the purse has gold-plate hardware and four metal stud bag feet on the bottom.  The purse is accessed by a fold-over front flap and twist-snap closure to reveal an open singular compartment with a zipper pocket on one side and an open, satin-lined pocket on the other side.  The "Koret" name and iconic gazelle above it is stamped in gold inside and "Korettalak Man Made Patent" is stamped below it.  The bag measures 8 1/2" across, 3 3/4" wide, and 12" high with a 6" drop from the top of the handle to the top of the bag.  This purse is in good condition, with very few flaws.  Outside, there are some miled scuffs to the white cover and age to the metal hardware.
