An oval baking dish with a dark brown high gloss with ivory foam glaze ("Brown Drip") in the Mirror Brown House 'N Garden line by Hull Art Pottery. The bowl measures 10" across and 7 1/2" wide with a profile height of 2 3/8". The bottom is incised with "Oven Proof H.P. Co. U.S.A." The dish is in good original condition. There are some light utensil marks and a tiny, no-show chip along the dry-rimmed underside.
Hull Art Pottery was founded in Crooksville, Ohio in 1905 by Addis Emmet Hull and maintained operations until its closing in 1986. Hull is known for art pottery, floristware, dinnerware and decorative tiles.
