A hefty (it feels solid and has weight to it) ceramic oval platter featuring the iconic Blue Willow pattern featuring a willow tree, bridge, figures of people and a river. The platter measures 12 1/2" long and 8 3/4" wide. The bottom is marked with a stamp that reads "Established 1811 House of Blue Willow Japan." The platter is an older piece is good original condition. Glaze crackling is noted throughout and a ding to the underside rim is also noted.
