I could be completely wrong about this, but I believe this is a Moribana, low-laying vase used in Ikebana flower arranging. The handmade stoneware vase has hand-formed bamboo accents sthat sit catty-corner to each other along the rims. The vase measures 7" long, 5 1/5" wide and 2 3/4" high. The bottom is signed by the maker and the condition is good. The metal flower frog needs to be re-glued to the inside or replaced with a larger frog.
