Hand Painted Floral Lusterware Salt and Pepper Set, Made in Japan

A pair of hand painted floral lusterware salt and pepper shakers made in Japan.  Each shaker measures 1 3/4" across the gently flared base, 1 1/8" across the gold tops, and both stand 2 3/4" tall.  The bottom of one of the shakers is marked "Japan" and apart from some light fading to the gold on one of the shakers, their condition is very good.
