A fun little gold tone brooch shaped like a warty leaping bullfrog with webbed toes. The frog has chipped red painted eyes and is affixed with a locking c-clasp closure. The frog measures 1 3/8" wide, 1" tall, and 3/8" deep. The maker is unknown and, apart from the paint loss to the eyes (which can be repainted), is in very good condition.
Gold Tone refers to a base metal that has been colored gold on the surface, but has no measurable gold content. Gold tone jewelry is not recommended for people with sensitivity to nickle or other types of metals, as it can cause a rash.
