A gold leaf ceramic cat figurine by Maynard Anthony Freeman of Freeman McFarlin Pottery. The cat measures 7 1/2" long, 4" wide, and stands 10" high from paw to tail. The bottom of the cat's belly is incised with "Anthony c Calif. USA 123." The bottom the cat's feet have felt pads. The condition is very good, with three noted pin-head-sized white glaze chips that are hard to notice. There are normal areas of red seen under the gold-leaf that is part of the manufacturing process that allowed for the gold leaf color to "pop."
