Ceramic Lidded Jar with Wicker Handle, Made in Japan

A ceramic lidded container with patterns of green squares accented by squiggly blue lines on a cream background topped by a green lidded knob and woven handle.  The bucket can be used for ice, cookies, or general storage but it must be noted that this piece is very old and therefore should be handled with care.  It measures 7 1/4" wide and stands 7" tall.  The bottom is marked "Made in Japan."  The condition is good, but age-related crazing is present and the bamboo handle has a partial crack but is still fully functional.  This is a delicate piece.
