Arco (Japan) Fine Quality Dallas Blue and Gold Porcelain Dishes, A Pair

A pair of porcelain dishes with hand painted flowers, gold beading and moriage accents surrounding a transferware image of a maiden reaching for an angel.  The bean-shaped dishes measure 7 1/4" long and 3 1/2" wide.  The bottom is marked with gold foil stickers that read "ARCO Fine Quality Dallas Made in Japan."  The condition of both pieces is very good, with no chips or cracks and only a hint of discoloration to a small area on one of the dishes.
